Soil drainage - Free draining (Water table <1.5m below ground level )

Species:

A soil that drains quickly after rain into a water table deep under the soil. Volcanic and sandy soils are free draining while sticky clays that pug in the winter time are not. Steeper slopes also tend to be free draining.
