On Friday the first of the field trips is organised by Mid Otago Branch and visits the Reid family farm near Lake Mahinerangi and the Sinclair Wetlands near Lake Waihola.

On Saturday we visit Landcare Award winner Allan Roulston at Hillend in the morning, then travel to Lawrence taking in three members’ prominent plantings and the numerous features of this historic town. Dinner and the auction will take place at Simpson Park in that town.

The final field trip will visit Neil and Pam Cullen’s property at Glenomaru, the Stephens Cypress trial block and a dairy farm and restored mine site near Kaitangata. Conference will wrap up with a barbecue at Telford.
