Trees for the Environment

Trees provide a large range on environmental benefits. Besides being the "lungs of the planet", trees and forests hold soil together, preventing erosion and cycling nutrients thus preventing nutrient and soil loss. Water quality is thus improved. Biodiversity increases in forests and trees provide sanctuaries for wildlife.
